Pharmacognostical Investigations of Hedysarum Caucasicum Bieb. (Fabaceae) - An Ethnomedicinal Plant of Northern Caucasus, Russia, Determination of Mangiferin and Antibacterial Potentials

It is established that extract of Hedysarum caucasicum Bieb. shows the antimicrobial activity concerning Shigella sonnei, Bacillus subtilis and B.anthracoides.
